Hey all! Our tight bros at Portland’s Jealous Butcher Records are releasing a limited edition vinyl version of Fruit Bats’ “Echolocation” to commemorated the ten-year (!) anniversary of that release. Come on down to Valentines tomorrow night – Wednesday 12/21 – for a chance to grab a copy. Its also a release party for the amazing Laura Gibson, and will feature a short set from Laura, as well as Duover (featuring Fruit Bats’ Nathan Jr.). I will likely sing a couple tunes, and will be spinning some sweet vinyl for ya. See you there?

Hello Friends, we’re winding down the European tour, just Paris and Antwerp to go before heading back across the Atlantic to sleep in our own beds again. We’ve seen a lot of beautiful cities and met a lot of great people so far. Looking forward to a couple more great shows, see you out there!

The ten-year anniversary reissue of Fruit Bats’ first album Echolocation is available for preorder via Jealous Butcher Records now. The release is limited to 500 copies with hand screened jackets and all new artwork by the amazingly talented Annie Beedy. Official release date is Dec. 20th, preorders will ship on/ around release date. 

After 10 years of rock and roll touring in bars, clubs and theaters we’ve realized we’ve seriously neglected a huge population of potential fans – the “under 8 crowd”. To rectify this error we are happy to announce the following two performances: first we’ll play You Who (Halloween show) on October 30th in Portland at McMenamins Kennedy School…  After that we’ll play Yo Gabba Gabba Live on November 13th in Seattle at the Paramount Theater. Bring your parents, kids.

Hello friends… Fruit Bats are insanely stokified to get on the road – we start tomorrow and go most of the month with our tight buds VETIVER… Please check out our tour dates to see if we’re coming to your town. Keep in mind that we’ll be doing more dates in more cities as the year goes on, so don’t bum if you don’t see yours… We are also happy to announce a hometown show in Portland, OR at the Doug Fir on Oct 22.
