“Smashed” at Sundance

Hey, if you’re at Sundance, check out director James Ponsoldt’s film “Smashed.” I had the pleasure of composing and performing the score alongside my dear friend Andy Cabic of Vetiver, and it’s our first collaboration! The movie, incidentally, is a real beauty… Here are the vital details.  xoxo EDJ

Echolation 10-Year Anniversary Party in Portland

Hey all! Our tight bros at Portland’s Jealous Butcher Records are releasing a limited edition vinyl version of Fruit Bats’ “Echolocation” to commemorated the ten-year (!) anniversary of that release. Come on down to Valentines tomorrow night – Wednesday 12/21 – for a chance to grab a copy. Its also a release party for the amazing Laura Gibson, and will feature a short set from Laura, as well as Duover (featuring Fruit Bats’ Nathan Jr.). I will likely sing a couple tunes, and will be spinning some sweet vinyl for ya. See you there?

Sincerely, EDJ
